Editorial Process
The Annals of Clinical and Translational Medicine (ACTM) follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and scientifically sound research.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to evaluate their relevance to the journal’s scope, scientific quality, and compliance with submission requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's standards may be returned to authors for revision or declined without external review.
Eligible submissions are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to maintain fairness and objectivity. Where necessary, an additional reviewer may be consulted. Final editorial decisions are based on reviewer recommendations and the Editor’s evaluation.
Authors receiving revision requests must submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed response to reviewer comments. Multiple rounds of review may be conducted before a final decision is reached.
Following acceptance, manuscripts undergo copy-editing, proofreading, and formatting. Final proofs are sent to the corresponding author for approval prior to publication.
Peer Review
ACTM employs a double-anonymized peer-review system to maintain transparency, integrity, and academic excellence. Reviewers assess manuscripts for originality, methodological quality, scientific validity, ethical compliance, clarity, and relevance to clinical and translational medicine.
Reviewer identities remain confidential, and editorial decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection are made based on reviewer feedback and editorial judgment.
In-House Submissions
